Cush's Fort - Trading Post / Saloon run by Lyme "Cush" Cushing. Hosts many games of stud and tends to serve as the town hub.

One-Eyed John's Claim - A small shack on what is said to be a potentially fruitful property for prospecting but unlucky personally for whomever resides there. One-Eyed John himself was hung after some skullduggery on his part that no one seems able to recall but they do remember that it took place in the summer. One-Eyed, according to One-Armed John, was among the orneriest men in Halfaday Creek.

The Cemetery - In which the buried are sorted by one of three letters; M for "murdered", H for "hung" and D to indicate that the person died with no particular assistance. 

Note: In "Hanged by a Thread", Black John estimates that in addition to himself, roughly another 40-50 people live in Halfaday Creek.
